HERE WHEN YOU NEED US.
Every day someone in Georgia hears the words, “You have ALS.” In that moment, everything changes. They often don’t know what they need or where to find help.
Information, support, resources. People who understand what it is like to live with this disease every day. That’s what people need after receiving an ALS diagnosis. They need a place to turn. They need a place that cares.
ALS United of Georgia is that place.
Care Services
No two people living with ALS are the same. The disease progresses differently in different people. Different families have different resources. But at some point, they all will need support and that’s what we are here for.
Care services is at the heart of everything ALS United of Georgia does.
At every stage of the disease, there are resources and services available through ALS United of Georgia. From equipment rental and transportation to respite care and financial assistance, families can access the support they need. And, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, these programs are offered free of cost.

Advocacy
ALS United of Georgia knows that when we raise our voices together, lawmakers are more likely to listen. There are a range of issues that impact the lives of Georgians living with ALS.
Through advocacy efforts, ALS United of Georgia and our supporters educate legislators about ALS, explain how the policies they are considering will impact Georgians living with the disease, and encourage them to be a part of the fight to find a cure.
Research
Research is the pathway to a cure for ALS. Working with a network of ALS organizations and supported by generous donors, ALS United of Georgia helps advance the most promising research into treatments and a cure.
Education & Awareness
